US Studies Centre CEO Simon Jackman says the US Election will not be postponed as the country battles the deadly coronavirus pandemic. Nearly ten thousand people have died from coronavirus and US hospitals are plagued with more than 330,000 cases but Mr Jackman says the vote for leader of the free world will still go ahead. “I don’t think there is any chance of (the election being postponed),” he said. “I think what we are going to see is some of the primary contests postponed. “It would require an act of congress to change (the election date) now it is not impossible but at this point I would have to say no.”
