The body of a Texas soldier who died in a vehicle accident in Afghanistan arrived home on July 17 in San Antonio, where the military provided a dignified transfer of his coffin. According to the military, Army Specialist Vincent Sebastian Ibarria, 21, died on July 3 in Farrah, Afghanistan in a vehicle rollover crash. Nine American soldiers have died in Afghanistan during 2020, including several killed in violent attacks. Ibarria, who enlisted in the army in 2017, died on his first deployment.
