The Northern Territory has recorded a new case of COVID-19 after a man who returned from overseas after quarantining in Melbourne tested positive to the virus. Northern Territory Health Minister Natasha Fyles said the man spent a few days with family in one of Victoria’s hotspots, after 14 days quarantine, before he flew home to Darwin. He arrived in Darwin on Monday before starting to feel unwell and presenting himself for testing. The ressults came back positive on Wednesday evening. The man is being treated for the coronavirus in Royal Darwin Hospital, where he is being kept in isolation. It is the first local COVID-19 case in the territory in 87days.
