‘We will continue to raise our voice’: Activists raise concern for Peng Shuai’s welfare

Activists have seized on the rest of the world's Australian Open focus to highlight a number of human rights issues – including the mystery surrounding Chinese Tennis player Peng Shuai. Sky News Australia discussed the issue with human rights activists Max Mok and Drew Pavlou. Mr Pavlou said in response to the eviction of two activists last week, one thousand “Where is Peng Shuai” T-shirts were printed and given to spectators at the Women’s Australian Open Final. "Until Peng Shuai is free we will continue to raise our voice at Grand Slams across the world." Ms Shuai went missing after accusing a top Chinese official of sexual assault, an incident which Naomi Osaka, Serena Williams and the Women’s Tennis Association have raised concerns about.
