Separatists in four Ukrainian regions currently occupied by Russian forces say they want to hold referendums this weekend to join Russia. Western leaders have been quick to reject any future results, labelling them as fake. Officials reportedly supported by the Kremlin announced referendums to annex itself from Ukraine in the Kherson, Luhansk, Donetsk, and Zaporizhzhya regions. “The referendums will change nothing, it’s an act of desperation for Russia, but it is not going to help them,” Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said.
