If Kings fail in NBL, Gaze accepts he’ll be out of coaching job

July 30, 2018. Kings coach Andrew Gaze, at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney’s west, says he knows expectations are high for the club in the upcoming NBL season with superstar signing Andrew Bogut, former league MVPs Kevin Lisch and Jerome Randall plus Boomers stalwarts Brad Newley and Daniel Kickert. Gaze doubts he will retain his position if the Kings don’t have some measure of success, saying “if we fail here, I'll be looking for alternatives, there’s no doubt about that and I accept that. We’ve been handed a very very good roster and we've got to make the most of it”. (AAP Video/Carol Cho)
