July 30, 2018. Kings coach Andrew Gaze, at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney’s west, says veteran player Daniel Kickert is coping well after the brawl with the Philippines basketball team in the World Cup qualifier in Manila on July 2 and having a five-match international ban imposed on him. Gaze says “there’s a lot of regret for what took place, he's very humbled by the situation, he accepts his punishment and he moves on”. Gaze says he’s grateful the FIBA ban didn’t include NBL games and he hopes Kickert will get the opportunity to play for the Boomers again. (AAP Video/Carol Cho)
