Medically retired WA police receive opposition apology

August 3, 2018. Former policeman Joe Shaw, speaking with reporters at a rally outside WA Parliament on medical related issues of retired police introduces Opposition Leader Mike Nahan who offers an apology on behalf of the the WA opposition. The Barnett government promised to introduce a workers compensation scheme for police in late 2016 but were criticised for not including a redress scheme in the plan and lost the election months later.
