The confidential medical records of thousands of hospital patients have been accessible online since 2005, SA Health has confirmed. The data, including patient names, dates of birth and results of more than 7,000 tests, was posted on the Women's and Children's Hospital website in Adelaide and could be accessed on multiple sites. The documents were removed in 2016, but SA Health was only alerted to the other publications on Wednesday.
