Adelaide paedophile Ruecha Tokputza has been sentenced to a record 40 years and three months in jail. Tokputza will serve a non-parole period of 28 years for abusing 13 children in Australia and Thailand. The 31-year-old recorded hundreds of videos of himself abusing children, one as young as 15 months old. He pleaded guilty to 50 charges committed between 2011 and 2018. When sentencing, the judge described him as a 'child's worst nightmare' and 'every parent's horror'.
