A bar outside Birmingham erupted in celebration on Tuesday, May 14, after Aston Villa beat local rivals West Brom on penalties to reach the Championship playoff final. Villa, who were relegated from the top tier of English football in 2016, will have a chance at redemption 12 months after their defeat at the hands of Fulham in the 2018 Championship final.
