Police are hunting an armed man following a carjacking outside a family home in Brisbane's northern suburbs. The carjacking happened shortly before 8pm on Monday in Ascot, where a man armed with a gun is alleged to have threatened the driver while his three children were in the car. Moments before the attack, police say the offender crashed a Lexus convertible in Towers Street, a number of blocks away. Police are appealing for anyone with information or CCTV footage to come forward.
