Shorten is a ‘divider who plays to people’s feelings and emotions’: Anderson

Former Nationals leader John Anderson says Bill Shorten is a ‘divider who plays to people’s feelings and emotions’ rather than on facts and policy. Mr Anderson says the Labor leader personally attacks Scott Morrison so he can divert attention away from his economic policy, which Australians are now aware will attack savings, disincentivise people from working and draw down on economic productivity. Speaking on the Kenny Report, Mr Anderson says he is ‘disturbed’ by the lack of balance in the media, which has seen Mr Shorten get away with things that he should not get away with. He also says Labor is setting Australia up for more ‘chaos’ when it comes its climate change policy and that ‘trust has broken down to an unprecedented and frightening degree in our parliament’.
