A mother, her three children and a fourth child have died after a car and truck collided near Kingaroy in Queensland. Both vehicles burst into flames when they collided on the Bunya Highway about 7.15pm on Monday. One child was flown to Queensland Children's Hospital in Brisbane but could not be saved. The 35-year-old woman and three other children died on impact. The truck driver escaped with non-life threatening injuries. Emergency crews attending the scene described the incident as ‘catastrophic’. Police say the family comes from Eli Waters in Hervey Bay.
