Queensland Liberal National MP Keith Pitt has told Sky News "small modular reactors are potentially the way of the future" as the debate around nuclear energy continues. Mr Pitt hosed down concerns over the dangers of nuclear reactors, saying “you really can’t compare what happened in those sites constructed in the late 60s and early 70s with what the current technology is”.
