A man wearing a face mask offered free hugs at Toronto’s Queen’s Park on Saturday, May 2, as a large crowd gathered to protest the government-mandated shutdown put in place in an effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus. Ontario Premier Doug Ford reportedly called the demonstration “disrespectful” to essential workers and military personnel. It was the second weekend in a row anti-lockdown protesters gathered in the park, reports said. Credit: @lucvschan via Storyful
