Supplied video obtained Tuesday, May 5, 2020, showing the rescue of a kayaker who was having difficulties and was approximately 3km off Wellington Point. The sea conditions were choppy, temperatures cool and winds were blowy at about 25kts. About 1.35pm Polair2 relayed the man's coordinates to the Coast Guard and hovered overhead until they arrived and rescued him from the water. He was transported to shore for medical assessment.
