US leaders debating ‘the economy versus lives’

Sky News contributor Michael Ware says United States leaders are caught in a debate over the "economy versus lives" in a bid to reopen. US President Donald Trump announced his administration adopted new projections from the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation which estimated a doubling in the number of coronavirus deaths across the country. “This new evaluation that says we’re going to double the deaths does take into account medication efforts in fact it specifically says that we’ve raised the death projections because of changes in mobility and physical distancing policies,” Mr Ware told Sky News. “The cost of this shift in reopening by at least 30 or 40 states, I’m afraid we’re going to see tally in funerals,” he said.
