Major supermarkets have been forced to implement restrictions on essential items after panic buying returned to Melbourne. Purchase limits have been applied to frozen vegetables, bread, milk, some meat products, toilet paper and tissues. Supermarket giants were forced to implement the limits as coronavirus fear increased across the state.
