NSW government ponders delaying freedoms for unvaccinated

The New South Wales Government is considering delaying the December 1 reopening date for unvaccinated residents in a bid to boost inoculation rates. Instead, it's reported senior ministers are pushing to have the original roadmap scrapped in favour of easing restrictions once 95 per cent of locals are fully vaccinated. While freedoms for the unvaccinated may be postponed, the government could accelerate some parts of the roadmap that were originally planned for December 1. The discussions come in the wake of a new outbreak at a Bondi pub. New South Wales health has identified at least 10 infections at the Tea Gardens Hotel in Bondi. Anyone who attended the venue from 7.30 pm on October 23 is considered a casual contact and must get tested and isolate until a negative result is received.
