A powerful nor’easter storm knocked out power for hundreds of thousands in eastern Massachusetts as wind gusts “over hurricane force” pummeled the area on Wednesday, October 27, the National Weather Service (NWS) said. John Luck posted video on Twitter showing some of the downed trees in the Bridgewater area on Wednesday morning. The NWS reported its highest wind gust at 94 mph in Edgartown.
