Stormy Daniels’ Lawyer Joins Protests in Front of White House

Protesters gathered in front of the White House for the second consecutive night on July 17, for a demonstration over President Donald Trump’s Helsinki summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin. The protesters were joined by Stormy Daniels’ lawyer Michael Avenatti and actress Alyssa Milano, who delivered speeches condemning Trump’s relationship with Russia. Trump has faced trenchant criticism from even within the Republican Party over his decision to meet Putin and his conduct at the summit. Trump failed to denounce Russian interference in the 2016 presidential election and criticized US intelligence agencies at the summit. “I hold both countries responsible. I think that the United States has been foolish. I think that we’ve all been foolish,” said Trump during a joint press conference.
