At least two people were killed and more than 30 injured in a suspected bomb attack at a mall in the Philippine city of Cotabato on December 31, CNN Philippines said. This video shows the aftermath of the blast outside the mall on Don Rufino Alonzo Street. According to national reports, the blast was caused by an improvised explosive device. A second improvised explosive device was found inside the building. Cotabato’s mayor, Cynthia Guiani-Sayadi, described the incident as a terrorist attack. In a statement on Facebook in which she referred to the loss of “several innocent lives,” she wrote: “We will stand up against terrorism. We will fight against evil.” Credit: Rainier Canoso via Storyful
