A firefighter has been treated in hospital for a knee injury after a fire destroyed a boarding house and damaged a business in Brisbane's south. Witnesses have reported hearing explosions and screams for help as residents woke to smoke and flames early on Thursday. Authorities are yet to determine the cause of the blaze.
