Indianapolis Firefighters Rescue Ducklings From Storm Drain

Firefighters in Indianapolis, Indiana, rescued several ducklings from a storm drain on Thursday, May 2. The Wayne Township Fire Department released footage of fire officials pulling the ducklings from a drain on West Washington Street and joked that they would request extra funds to create “Indiana’s first baby duck rescue team.” Wayne Township firefighters rescued another group of ducklings from a drain on April 24 and rescued two turtles and a dog from a house fire on April 30. The ducklings were reunited with their mother at a nearby pond. Credit: Wayne Township Fire Department via Storyful
