Weather warnings remained in place for Amarillo, Texas, on April 30, after storms brought hail and wind speeds of up to 50 mph to the area days earlier. This timelapse video, shared to Twitter, shows a storm cell near Amarillo on April 27. Further thunderstorms were expected throughout the week, the National Weather Service said. “Thunderstorms will be possible Wednesday night over portions of the eastern Oklahoma and eastern Texas Panhandles, and then again Thursday night through Monday across the entire area,” the NWS said.
