Israel Folau’s father, Eni, allegedly told his son that he would ‘go to hell’ if he accepted a deal with Rugby Australia to protect his career, according to the Sunday Telegraph. Rugby Australia told the 30-year-old fullback it would not tear up his contract if he took down a social media post denigrating homosexuals, adulterers and liars, among others, saying they would go to hell unless they repent. Mr Folau was due to accept this offer before his father’s intervention, according to the media report.
