Man accused of importing meth and cocaine arrested in Sydney’s west

A number of people have been stopped at airports in the US and Sydney after allegedly trying to import methylamphetamine and cocaine. Two people have been charged after being stopped by Australian Border Force officials at Sydney Airport, and a further five people were stopped in the US before boarding flights to Sydney. Following an extensive six-month investigation, police arrested a 66-year-old man at a Cabramatta West home on Tuesday. He was charged with attempting to import a commercial quantity of drugs and has been refused bail to face court on Wednesday. Image: NSW Police
