Passengers at Ireland’s Dublin Airport waited for hours in the customs line on March 15 amid the coronavirus pandemic. Kevin Kunzmann wrote: “A ridiculous 5-hour affair at #Dublin airport: waited in a line this size….” He shared this video to Twitter on Sunday, showing the long lines at the airport. Dublin Airport has a pre-clearance arrangement for US customs, allowing passenger to go through regular immigration requirements before leaving Ireland, according to the airport’s website. The delays in Dublin were reported as the United States government began to implement new restrictions on travel from Europe and checks at several airports as part of measures to slow the spread of the novel coronavirus.
