At least 35 people have been killed and 68 people injured following a bombing at a Shiite mosque in southern Afghanistan. The explosion took place in the Kandahar region during weekly Friday prayers. A witness has said they heard three blasts in different locations at the mosque. A Taliban spokesperson has vowed the perpetrators will be caught and brought to justice. There has been no immediate claim of responsibility.
