China has condemned the US and Canada for sending warships through the Taiwan Strait – accusing the two nations of threatening peace in the region. US ships have been transiting the strait monthly, angering Beijing – which claims the two countries colluded 'to provoke and stir up trouble'. China – which claims Taiwan as it's own – has sent at least 150 air force missions into the air defence idenfitication zone since the beginning of October. Chinese aircraft are yet to enter Taiwanese air space.
