Stockton Hit With Flooding After Historic California Rainfall

Residents of Stockton, California, awoke to street flooding on Monday, October 25, a day after record rainfall in the region. Rain caused flash flooding on Sunday from the Bay Area to the state’s border with Nevada. Heavy snow fell in higher elevations, causing portions of Interstate 80 to be blocked off. Sacramento tallied its rainiest day in recorded history on Sunday, while San Francisco saw the fourth most rain on a single day, and the wettest October day ever.
