Quarantine requirements have been scrapped for fully vaccinated tourists as the United States prepares to reopen its borders to international travellers from early November. Tourists from 33 countries will be allowed to enter the country from November 8 provided they return a negative COVID PCR test 72 hours before departure. It's understood those who have received any vaccine approved in the US, as well as those approved for emergency use by the World Health Organisation, will be permitted entry into the country. The US imposed tough border restrictions on travellers from China in January last year before expanding its rules to Canada, Mexico and Europe.
