US President Donald Trump’s choice for the US Supreme Court has vowed to ‘continue to co-operate’ with an FBI investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct. Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination to the Supreme Court was approved by the US Senate judiciary committee on the condition the FBI launch a supplemental investigation into the allegations. Mr Trump agreed to the demand and ordered a week-long probe, delaying Mr Kavanaugh’s confirmation vote by at least a week.
