At least five people were injured as Typhoon Trami slammed Japan’s Okinawa Island on on Saturday, September 29, bringing high winds and torrential rains. The powerful typhoon was expected to swing northeast towards Kagoshima Prefecture’s Amami Islands and Japan’s home islands early Sunday, September 30.
