Govt must take greater action following Opal Tower exodus: Daley

About 300 residents of Sydney’s Opal Tower will be left homeless until 2019 as investigators smash open walls and test the building’s structural integrity. Residents were evacuated on Christmas Eve, after cracks were found in a concrete slab. They were evacuated for a second time on Thursday. New South Wales Opposition Leader Michael Daley says the government needs to take greater action to ensure the residents are looked after during the testing period. Image: News Corp Australia
