New South Wales Health is urging people to be on high alert for measles symptoms after a man returned from Thailand, diagnosed with the infection. The man was unknowingly susceptible to measles and developed symptoms a week after returning to Sydney. He visited several popular areas in the lead up to Christmas while infectious. The locations visited include the Sydney CBD David Jones on the 23rd of December as well as Bondi, Chippendale and Rosebery. He has now recovered and is no longer infectious but it is recommended that anyone who has been to those locations should watch for symptoms.
