People urged to ‘plan ahead’ for Sydney New Years Eve celebrations

Organisers are promising this year's New Year's Eve celebrations in Sydney will be the biggest and brightest, with more pyrotechnics and fireworks on the Harbour. Those planning on heading into the city are being urged to plan ahead, as major road closers come into effect to accommodate the large crowds. Temporary closures will also impact trains, with Circular Quay station, closed between 5pm and midnight, and Milsons Point station closed from 6pm to midnight.
