Morrison says Scullion and Keenan are leaving for personal reasons

January 26, 2019. The Prime Minister Scott Morrison speaking in Canberra after the Australia Day citizenship ceremony comments on the overnight news that Ministers Nigel Scullion and Michael Keenan will be retiring from politics at the next election. Mr Morrison says they will continue to work in their portfolios until the election. Mr Morrison couldn't guarantee other ministers would not resign before the election. The Prime Minister says that their decisions to leave are personal and for the media not to read to much into it, as they both have been in parliament a very long time. Mr Morrison also confirmed he has had conversations with Craig Lundy over the break. (AAP Video/Marnie Banger)
