FULL MEDIA CONFERENCE: US President Donald Trump says that he will sign a bill to open the US government for three weeks until February 15 following the record 36 day government shutdown. President Trump has told media that he will 'make sure' all government employees receive their back pay immediately or 'as soon as possible'. Over the next 21 days, Congress men and women from both the Democrat and Republican Parties are expected to debate the details surrounding the proposed southern border wall. If a deal fails to be reached, it is assumed the shutdown will recommence.
