Ecstasy use by students more than doubled in three years

Alarming new figures reveal the number of Australian high school students using ecstasy has more than doubled in three years. A survey of almost 20,000 high school age children has found 16 per cent of 17-year-old boys have taken ecstasy, while the proportion of 17-year-old girls consuming the party drug increased from 4.7 per cent to 9 per cent.
