Ultra Music Festival issued an apology after thousands of attendees had to walk from Virginia Key Island to the mainland of Miami, Florida, in the early hours of March 30. Attendees said they walked over three miles from Virginia Key Beach Park along the Rickenbacker Causeway to drop-off locations in South Miami after waiting hours for shuttle buses to the mainland. “Many of you experienced challenging transportation conditions leaving the festival,” festival organizers said in a statement. “This is unacceptable and inconsistent with the high standards you have come to expect from us. For this, we are sorry.” This footage was posted by Abhi Punj, who said she filmed it attendees walked along the Rickenbacker Causeway. Credit: Abhi Punj via Storyful
