Facebook founder and chief executive Mark Zuckerberg has called on governments around the world to play a more active role in controlling Internet content. In an op-ed for the Washington Post, Mr Zuckerberg argues combatting extremist content has become too difficult for social media giants to do alone. Facebook has come under fire recently, following the alleged Christchurch gunman using the site to live stream footage of the massacre.
