Protesters Storm Sacramento Streets After Stephon Clark Decision

Protesters stormed Sacramento streets on March 4 after the county’s District Attorney decided not to charge police officers involved in the 2018 shooting of Stephon Clark. Stephon Clark, an unarmed black man, was shot and killed by Sacramento police officers on March 18, 2018. Sacramento District Attorney Anne Marie Schubert announced on Saturday that police officers involved in the 2018 shooting would not face criminal charges. In this video, filmed by Mitchell Bobo, protesters brandish signs and march in Sacramento streets chanting “Hey, hey. Ho, ho. These killer cops have got to go” and “Whose streets? Our streets”. Earlier in the week, on Sunday, March 3, protesters filled a “Sacramento mall”:https://newswire.storyful.com/storylines/*/stories/217066#story-detail—verification-section-date to demand justice.
