Woodside Petroleum chairman Richard Goyder is once again calling for certainty from state and federal governments over Australia’s energy policy and emissions regime. Mr Goyder told Sky News that business wants to ‘get on with things’ following the federal election, and it's essential for companies to know how they are to meet Paris Agreement obligations. He notes certainty is essential for Woodside, as it is looking with its partners to invest billions of dollars in the north-west of Australia in the coming years.
