Shadow minister for Eduction, Tanya Plibersek speaks to the media in Canberra saying she has no knowledge of whether Carl Bitar, a former National Secretary of the Australian Labor Party who works as an executive for Crown Limited, or Mark Abib, a former Labor minister who works for James Packer's company, lobbied Labor members to vote against a parliamentary inquiry into Crown Casino. Ms Plibersek says hasn't heard from them in a "very long time". The Law integrity commission has limited powers and can't question former or current ministers regarding ministerial conduct.
