Australian Army ‘disaster trains’ in Vanuatu

The Australian Army has completed exercises on the Pacific Island of Vanuatu, training humanitarian and disaster relief with the national police force. The soldiers worked with local police officers on "readiness to respond" to future natural disasters. Defence Minister Linda Reynolds and Vanuatu's Prime Minister Charlot Salwai said the event helped to strengthen the bond between the nations. Image: News Corp Australia
