Firefighters and residents in Queensland and New South Wales are preparing for another horror day of bush fires with affected areas unlikely to see rain for the next seven days. A total of 17 properties have been destroyed by fire and hundreds have been forced to evacuate in the southeast region of Queensland. A number of emergency warnings are still in place. Authorities said approximately 51 fires are burning across the state. Image: News Corp Australia
