The New York Post’s Miranda Devine says former Defence Secretary Jim Mattis has held off criticising Donald Trump in his new book, despite the US President being his reason for leaving the administration. Ms Devine told Sky News "Mattis has reserved his real venom for former president Barack Obama, saying he completely bungled the Middle East strategy by pulling out of Iraq too soon and empowering ISIS to grow into the menace it was”.
