‘Quality of corporate auditing is a serious concern’

Labor Senator Deborah O’Neill told Sky News “the quality of auditing” is something that Australia needs to “exercise some scepticism about”. There are concerns some of Australia's biggest companies have not rotated auditors for decades, which reportedly causes a heightened risk of corporate disasters. “Australians really rely on truth in auditing for them to make informed decisions,” Senator O'Neill said.
